Career
Law first, then everything law made possible.
Robert K. Rainer graduated from Brandeis University and from Suffolk University Law School, and practised law in Massachusetts. In 1999 Massachusetts Lawyers Weekly named him one of the twenty five most influential lawyers in the state.
He then redirected his career towards nonprofits, healthcare technology and community work, and has stayed there since. The conviction behind the work is a single one: that systems can be built to help people, and that the volunteer hours are the beginning of it rather than the end.
He teaches as well as practises. He holds the ACBSP Teaching Excellence Award for 2020, one of twenty professors recognised worldwide that year, and is Professor Emeritus at the International University of Leadership in Morocco. He is a named patent holder for intuitive search syndication and social interaction systems.

The Marquis Who's Who entry is named without a year. Two of the group's own properties give different years for it, and the standing rule on these sites is that a figure our own records disagree about is not published until one of them is confirmed.
