Short, because there is not much to say about the rebuilt sites. Longer about the ones still on the old platform, because there we do not control the answer.
Drafted, pending review. These documents are drafted and are awaiting sign off. They replace the previous legal centre, which named three of our domains and left the rest uncovered, and they replace the pages on individual sites that reproduced another organisation's policy. Until sign off is recorded here, treat them as the intended position rather than the settled one.

The short version
The sites we have rebuilt set no cookies at all unless you do something that needs one, such as signing in. They load no fonts, no icon libraries and no analytics from anybody else's server, so no third party learns you visited us just because a page rendered.
Why we build them that way
A page that loads a font from a third party sends your address to that third party before you have agreed to anything. It is also the most common reason a page is slow to appear. Removing those requests fixes a privacy problem and a performance problem in the same move, so we did.
What may be set
- Strictly necessary
- A session cookie when you sign in to an application of ours, and a token that protects forms against cross site request forgery. These cannot be switched off without breaking the thing you are trying to do.
- Preference
- If you change a setting that we remember between visits, it is stored in your browser. Clearing your browser data removes it.
- Analytics
- Where a site of ours uses analytics, it is named on this page before it is used, and it is not loaded until you agree. No site in the rebuilt set uses any today.
Sites still on the previous platform
Our sites that have not been rebuilt yet run on a hosted website builder that sets its own cookies, including for its own analytics and for chat and booking widgets. We do not control that list. Until those sites move, the platform's own cookie notice governs them, and this page will not pretend otherwise.
Refusing cookies
Every browser lets you block or delete cookies, and most let you do it per site. Blocking strictly necessary cookies will stop you signing in. Nothing else on our rebuilt sites depends on them.
Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control
We honour the Global Privacy Control signal where a site of ours processes personal data that a signal is relevant to. We do not sell personal data, so in practice there is nothing for the signal to stop.
