Terms of use
One set of terms for every site listed below, rather than a different set on each, which is what produced the situation where several of our sites carried another organisation's terms.
Drafted, pending review. These documents are drafted and are awaiting sign off. They replace the previous legal centre, which named three of our domains and left the rest uncovered, and they replace the pages on individual sites that reproduced another organisation's policy. Until sign off is recorded here, treat them as the intended position rather than the settled one.

Agreement to these terms
By using any site in the table above you agree to these terms. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the site.
What these sites are
They are informational and, in the case of the licensing sites, a way to ask about and reserve a product. Using a site does not create a professional relationship of any kind. In particular, nothing on any of our sites is legal advice, medical advice, or financial advice, and it should not be relied on as any of those.
Your account, where you have one
You are responsible for keeping your credentials to yourself and for everything done under your account. Tell us promptly if you think someone else has access. Do not publish credentials anywhere, including on a page of your own site.
Acceptable use
- Do not use our sites to break the law or to help anybody else do so.
- Do not attempt to gain access to systems, data or accounts that are not yours.
- Do not scrape, bulk copy or republish our directory listings without written permission. The directory exists so that a person in difficulty can find a number, not so that it can be resold.
- Do not send us anything that would be unlawful, abusive, misleading, or that infringes somebody else's rights.
- Do not interfere with the operation of the sites, including by load that a reasonable person would call an attack.
Territory licences
Where you licence a territory through one of our licensing sites, the licence agreement you sign governs that relationship, and it takes precedence over these terms where the two differ. Availability shown on a site is read from our register at the moment the page loads and is not a reservation. A territory is only yours once the agreement is executed.
Our content
The text, design, code and arrangement of these sites belong to us or to our licensors. You may read, print and share pages for your own non commercial use. You may not republish substantial parts commercially without permission. Where we quote or reproduce somebody else's material, it belongs to them.
Content you send us
If you send us feedback, suggestions or material, you allow us to use it in operating and improving our sites, without obligation to you. Do not send us anything confidential that you do not want used this way.
Links to other sites
Our sites link to organisations we do not control, including crisis services, healthcare bodies and our own partners. A link is not an endorsement of everything on the other end of it, and we are not responsible for their content or their practices.
Availability
We aim to keep the sites available but we do not promise they will be. They may be unavailable for maintenance, for reasons outside our control, or because something broke. If a page you rely on is missing, tell us.
Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of these sites, and our total liability in connection with them is limited to the amount you have paid us in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.
Changes
We may change these terms. The date at the top of the page shows when they last changed. Continuing to use the sites after a change means you accept it.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of the state in which the operating entity for the relevant site is organised, and the courts of that state have jurisdiction. Where you are a consumer, this does not remove protections available to you under the law of your own country.
